Amazing Barrel
The Crossman 19.5 inch chocked barrel is fitted in Benjamin Marauder air rifle. Because of the constriction of choked barrel quite closer to the muzzle the pellet squeezes before shooting out. Chocked barrel are extremely accurate and Crosman wanted the accuracy of Marauder through this barrel. Due to chocked barrel you will be pleased with the accuracy in 50 yards distance. The barrel is absolutely free-floated and that’s why the reservoir didn’t alter the accuracy level.
If you have chosen for Crosman 10.5-gram pellet the velocity is expected to be 920fps and the rifle sound very low. Benjamin Marauder Air Rifle is too quiet to listen in a 50 feet area. Simply the rifle is quiet, powerful and accurate.
The stock and metal
The stock is adjusted for both hands so if you are left handed or right handed it doesn’t affect on you target shooting. There are high comb rolls on the butt covering both sides so lefties will really enjoy it. Benjamin Marauder air rifle is absolutely attractive quite elegant and not too flashy.
The metal has a charcoal matte finish that I personally prefer for all types of air rifles. The day was misting heavily and all the blued firearms I took rusted by the time I got home. They all had to be sprayed with Ballistol and wiped down carefully. And then I came to the Marauder. It hadn’t a mark on it! It looked like it had never left the house. So, after two hours of saving rifle finishes, it was nice to finally have one that didn’t need a thing. I wasn’t prepared for that. Hunters will love the tough finish.
Adjusting the fill pressure
You can adjust the fill pressure according to the rifle operation. You can fill it up to 2000 psi. If you want some extra shots with one filling you can fill it up to 3000 psi fill. Here it is necessary to know that fill pressure means the amount of air rather the velocity. The velocity is adjustable but separately. Two Allen screws are for fill pressure adjustment and located in the rear of the receiver inside a small hole. Another screw that basically controls the air transfer port is for velocity adjustment. The more you tight it the lesser air it will flow and slow will be the shoot.

The stock is made in such a way that it is equally easy for both hands so no problem for left hander or right hander.
